High Fiber & Probiotic Smoothies

 

Spinach Mango Smoothie

Ingredients

2 cups spinach
2 mangos, peeled and chopped
1 banana

1 teaspoon wheatgrass powder

Spinach Peach Smoothie

Ingredients

2 cups spinach
2 peaches, seeds removed
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water (optional)

 

Tropical Green Smoothie

Ingredients

1 head romaine or green leafy lettuce
2 cups water
1 banana
1/2 pineapple, skin and core removed

1 teaspoon wheatgrass powder

Blueberry Green Smoothie

Ingredients

1 head romaine lettuce
3/4 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
1 apple, roughly chopped
1/4 lemon or lime
2 cups water

1 teaspoon wheatgrass powder

 

Grape Cooler Smoothie

Ingredients

Large handful of red seedless grapes, stems removed
Basket of fresh or frozen strawberries, stems removed
1 frozen banana, peeled
1/2 head romaine lettuce

Put grapes at the bottom of blender to create enough liquid to blend the other ingredients; add a little water, if needed

High Fiber Superfood Smoothie

Ingredients

1 medium avocado, pitted and peeled

2 pears, cored, but not peeled

1 T raw carob powder

2 T ground flax seeds

1 t spirulina flakes

Honey or agave syrup to taste

1 l (1 qt.) pure water

 

Blueberry, Banana, Orange Smoothie
Ingredients

1 1/4 cups orange juice
1 ripe medium banana, peeled and sliced
1 cup frozen blueberries, blackberries or raspberries
1/2 cup silken tofu (preferably organic)
2 ice cubes, crushed (see Tip)
Blend until smooth

Chocolate Banana Smoothie

Ingredients

·    1 banana

·    1/2 cup silken tofu or low-fat plain yogurt (for probiotics)

·    1/2 cup rice, almond or milk of your choice

·    2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

·    1 tablespoon honey

Blend until smooth

 

Green Goddess Smoothie

Ingredients

1 Banana, cut in chunks

1/2 Apple, cored and chopped or sliced

1 cup White Grapes

1 cup Fat-Free Vanilla Yogurt (or Plain Yogurt and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla)

1-2 cups fresh Spinach Leaves

Blend until smooth

Spinach & Carrot Smoothie
Ingredients

2 cups chopped spinach

1 cup chopped carrots

1 banana

1 cup apple juice

4 ice cubes

Blend until smooth

   

Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie
Ingredients

2 cups frozen banana slices (approximately 2 medium bananas)

1 cup ice

1-1/2 cups vanilla rice or almond milk (or milk of your choice)

1/4 cup natural peanut butter

1/4 cup vanilla yogurt (for probiotics)

2 Tbsp. honey

 

Directions
Place frozen banana slices and ice in the bottom of a blender or the work bowl of food processor, fitted with a metal blade. Pour milk over fruit. Add remaining ingredients. Puree until smooth. Serve immediately

If you don't have time to freeze the banana slices in advance, just use regular bananas and add more ice. OR you can have it on the warmer-side which is actually better for digestion

Good Morning Smoothie

Ingredients

1 organic apple, diced

1/2 cup organic baby carrots

3/4 cup frozen wild blueberries

1/2 cup spinach (optional)

half of 1 organic banana (optional)

1/2 cup rice milk or almond milk

room temperature water (add to desired consistency)

2 tablespoons organic hemp protein

    

Makes 2 large glasses. You may drink both in the morning
